Do you accept insurance for international students?
We work with a wide range of Canadian insurance providers, including many plans commonly used by international students studying in Ontario. Send us a photo of the front and back of your insurance card along with the policyholder’s date of birth before your visit, and we’ll verify your exact coverage and walk you through any out-of pocket costs ahead of time no surprises at checkout.
What are my options if I don't have dental insurance yet?
You’re still welcome here. We provide clear, itemized pricing before any treatment begins, so you always know the cost upfront. We also offer flexible payment options for students paying out of pocket, and we’re happy to prioritize what’s necessary now versus what can wait until you have coverage.
Can I book an appointment between classes?
Yes. Many Northeastern students book appointments during midday breaks, right after their last class, or on a day off from co-op. Let us know your schedule when booking and we’ll do our best to find a slot that fits — most routine visits (cleanings, checkups) take under an hour.
Do you treat wisdom teeth?
Yes. We’ll assess your wisdom teeth as part of a routine exam or X-ray and let you know honestly whether they need to come out, need monitoring, or aren’t a concern at all. If extraction is needed, we can often handle it in-office without a separate referral.
Do you speak languages other than English?
Our team includes multilingual staff ask when you book and we’ll do our best to match you with someone who speaks your preferred language, or arrange support for your appointment.
