Step 1: Examination & Treatment Planning

Step 2: Tooth Preparation
Any decay or old restorations are carefully removed, and the tooth is precisely shaped to create adequate space for the crown. If needed, buildup material may be added to recreate missing tooth structure and provide a stable foundation.
Step 3: Impression or Digital Scan
We capture a highly accurate digital scan or impression of your prepared tooth and surrounding teeth to ensure your crown fits perfectly and matches your bite.
Step 4: Temporary Crown Placement
A temporary crown is placed to protect your tooth and maintain function and aesthetics while your custom permanent crown is being fabricated at the dental laboratory.
Step 5: Final Crown Placement
Once your permanent crown is ready, the temporary crown is removed and the new crown is carefully tried in. Your dentist makes any necessary adjustments to ensure a proper fit, a comfortable bite, and a natural appearance.
